Important fee changes from 1st January 2023
We have recently changed to bulk billing all appointments including Telehealth for all patients with a Medicare card. Procedures incur procedure fees. All accounts must be paid in full on the day of service.
Please note – if you do not meet Medicare eligibility for Telehealth (please check the medicare website), a full payment is required on the day and our staff can assist you in reclaiming your rebate.
Welcome to Our Clinic
At Blair Athol Medical Clinic we are dedicated in providing a high quality comprehensive health service to the community. Our GP clinic is purpose built and opened in 2014.
We cater for patients of all ages and provide a range of medical services including immunisations, chronic disease management, health assessments, general checkups, Mirena Insertion, Minor Procedure, Ingrown Toe Nail Excision, Antenatal Shared Care.
We have a variety of other services available at the clinic including Allied health services, Psychology, Pharmacy and Pathology to meet the needs of our patients.
We are a team of medical practitioners who work hard to provide evidence-based, effective treatments in our clinic.
General Services
Minor Procedures
Our skilled doctors can perform a wide range of procedures including skin cancer excisions, suturing, Implanon insertion and removals, Mirena Insertions and Ingrown toe nail excisions. Procedure fees apply.
After Hours Care
We offer after hours care and public holidays. Due to demand we no longer can accept walk in appointments
Paediatric Care
We have Doctors with special interest and extensive experieince in Child Health. Childhood Immunisations and health checks available.
Chronic Disease Management
Blair Athol Medical Clinic is committed to providing personalised, lifelong care. We will work with you to develop your chronic disease management plan.
Pregnancy Care
Our Obstetric Shared Care GPs are able to care or you through your pregnancy and postnatal care. We also provide preconception appointments to prepare you for your pregnancy.
Work Medicals
You can book via 8349 9292 for our complete medical examinations. Please be aware a fee applies for work medicals.
Motor Vehicle Accidents
Involved in a MVA? We are able to provide medical assessments and assist with your ongoing care.

Patient Information
If you would like to make an appointment with one of our medical practitioners, please contact our reception staff on 8349 9292. Alternatively you may book your appointments online via health engine.
You will need to complete a transfer of medical notes request form, that the clinic can then forward to your previous GP.
Consults are bulk-billed for medicare card holders during Monday – Friday 8AM -6pm only. However, in some instances we will not be able to bill under medicare, these include work complete medical examinations, vehicle complete medical examinations i.e. UBER drivers and for some procedures there may be an added charge. If you do not have a medicare card, a private fee will apply. Please contact the clinic if you are uncertain of your circumstance.
As of the 1st of February 2019, if you do not attend a scheduled appointment and/or fail to cancel within 2 hours of the appointment time, you will be issued a $25-50 fee. This is to be paid prior to your next appointment with the doctor.
